Saya nak lumba

1. Malaysia is blessed with a lot of petrol-head drivers. Some Malaysian drivers do have that driving talent, just that they are not given the opportunities to shine. For instance, every Malaysian car owners will somehow upgrade his/her car's looks and performance at times.Proton Wira were converted to be an evo3,Proton Waja as evo7,Myvi as Toyota Passo,Inspira as the evo10. Not yet to mention the bikers, the "Mat Rempit" who owns the Malaysian city roads and the bus and lorry drivers who owns the highways of Malaysia.Almost all Malaysians have that "racing spirit" in their nerves.

2. However,Malaysia has very limited racing circuit made for public.

3. Therefore,Malaysian drivers were forced to put their "racing spirits" on public roads, causing major risk to the public. Thus causing many many tragic road accidents. More than 6000 lost their life in road accidents causing an enourmous RM6 billion loss every year.In 2009,Malaysia lost more lives in road accidents than any other country in the world.

4. Therefore,we should start building racing tracks for public. Not all driver can take a spin at the Sepang International Circuit.

5. We don't need to make F1-grade racing circuit,a simple racing circuit is enough as long as it is a safety-proven circuit.Take the Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit in Germany as an example.Since its opening in 1927 the track has been used by the public for anyone with a road legal car or motorcycle, as well as tour buses, motor homes, or cars with trailers. It is opened mainly on Sundays, but also many Saturdays and weekday evenings. The track may be closed for weeks depending on the maintenance work.

6. The circuit's administration can be either a government or a non-government organization that will make sure the circuit is well maintained every day.Road law should applies at the track. There should be no general speed limit but speed limits must exist in certain areas in order to reduce noise and risks. The police can prosecute poor driving with the aid of helicopters or CCTVs.

7. This project will open up a lot of job opportunities and huge business opportunities for businessmen and investors.

8. Imagine how many workshops, gas stations, hospitals, restaurants and hotels that can be build in the surronding area of the circuit. The circuit will gradually become a centre of reckretional activity.Hence, the value of the properties, homes, lands around the circuit will increase.

9. The circuit fees should be reasonable enough to attract petrolheads to the circuit. The cost of driving a single lap of the track should be around RM5 for each car or motorcycle. Multi-lap tickets can be purchased for a lower per-lap price, such as 4 laps at a cost of Rm12 (RM3 per lap). An annual ticket with unlimited laps, valid from January 1st to December 31st, can be purchased for around RM300-RM500. Twenty minutes driving the circuit for RM20. For a circuit that will give thrills, driving pleasure and is safety-proven,that kind of price is a bargain.

10. From the circuit, many new talents can be scouted. It is not possible that one day we will have a Malaysian Micheal Schumacher..

11. Hendak seribu daya, tak hendak seribu dalih. Wallahua'lam..
